What is the best program for transferring files over Infared. Im trying to send files from my 360LX to my Velo 1. Still dont have my 9pin to USB adapter yet, so in the mean time I thought I could use my 360LX (which has files on its CF card) to put some stuff on it. Right now my Velo 1 is running CE 1.0. As long as the 8mb ram card I ordered works then Id be running Windows CE 2.0 on both the Velo and the 360LX. Fingers crossed on that.

Thanks yall

:-)

I want to be able to send folders if possible. Right now I can only send one individual file at a time rather than the whole folder.

If you're definitely migrating to CE 2.0, Total Commander should be able to handle this:

I used to use EzOBEX, however I cannot recall if it works on 2.00 or whether it is 2.10 or higher

According to this archived site on archive.org,
It says EzOBEX works on all Windows CE devices with IrDA port.

Stingraze,

Problem is that common compiling for CE 1.0x and CE 2.0 with 2.11 and 3.0 wasn't possible, the had to come from different compilers. 2.11+ could universally compile to SH3, SH4, MIPS and ARM but weren't down-level compatible. So without testing, we can't take it for granted that it'll work on CE 1.0 or 2.0 - especially given that I genuinely can't remember

Even if the compiler targeted for 1.0, it needed different compiler / executable file for it to run on 2.0+? I will try to download the zip file and see if there is a Japanese ReadMe file and see if there is any info.

Update 11/1/2021 23:13PM:
There was a short manual on this page in Japanese.
https://web.archive.org/web/20060116021720/http://masataka.mailbbs.com/ez/jp/documents/EzOBEX/

Not much info on older info, but it says it works on Mobile Gear (MIPS) and Sigmarion 3 (ARM).
I've found information from 2012 on a site that EzOBEX worked on Cassiopeia A-60 (Windows CE 2.0 machine)

No, 1.0 SH3 will run on 2.0 SH3 and 2.10 SH3. Just not a 2.11 SH3 on a 1.0.
