| Hello guys,
I have HP 620lx without a serial sync cable. I plan to make one myself (I will hardwire it to the cradle.
Is there someone who knows the wiring diagram of such cable? I have read that is it the same cable for 300,600,700 and 800 series, but I am not sure...
thanks in advance! |

| Yes please!
I have that 620lx for some time now, and I really want to start using it. I have HP4150 and a Palm also, but the 620 has some perl ported to it and it would be real fun

| I cannot find the information. I'll keep looking.
Incidentally, why not just buy a sync cable off of eBay or the like? |

Apparently C:Amie does. If you register, he can PM it to you, or email it to you with your contact information. |

| I have never managed to find the schematic. Alas, what with my PC being down at the minute, I'm not likley to either. |

| I would just buy one, a self made one is (usualy ) less quality (no offence on how ever good you are at electronics ) anyway is a lot easiyer

| Well if anyone has an extra cable we can make our own diagram.
A (CAREFUL ) dissection with lots of pictures and then a drawn diagram afterwards could be what we need, but we would have to identify every piece. |

| You would need IMO to find a dead cable. Given that the cables are going to become increasingly hard to get hold of, wrecking on intentionally just... well... I wouldn't have the heart to advise it.
The real problem with making your own is getting the legacy, proprietary hp RS232 connector.
I have never been able to source them. |
