you should get a jornada 720... i see you've already arranged that, haven't you?

Have I? I said I am interested in one and I would like to buy one of the 2 that are already up for sale and a good bargin at £100, seeing as they go for much more here!
(Point is, I don't have much more than 100!)

EDIT: I forgot to say, I haven't heard anything from either seller comfirming if they are willing to do business with me. I am pretty paitence anyway!

Which card was that? I had a simliar experience with my TDK card, I tried it in my handheld, but there was no drivers for it!

eagletec.
if your TDK has a widcomm bt stack you have a chance hacking it! (i can't remember if you have a 780 or a 790... with the latter you've got a chance)
can you give me the link to the product? i'm not sure if i can find it

Err, widcomm according to my XP laptop!
And the device is a MP780, I'd love to make it a MP 785, but, haha! I can laugh that away!

cmonex,
well, start with your first experience with an h/pc
Joseph

heh?
it was when i saw the jornada 720 for the first time, minutes before i bought it. i arranged it without even seeing a hpc before... and it was evident that i was going to buy it the moment i turned it on to try it out... it seemed amazingly fast to me (i read wince was slow and instable, etc. etc.), and the screen was very nice too! especially after a grayscale MC218
so i really felt i found the perfect device for me!
(reasons why i switched from a psion: bluetooth and web browsing and maybe a more readable screen. nothing more but i found a lot more about it since then! )

Facinating, I don't mean to brag, but I got my 2010c for free from my aunt's company in 2000. I got my Palm III xe just this last month for 40.00 USD (22.3001 GBP)

i can get a palm IIIe for less than 40$ here (maybe 20$), but nevermind

Of the III line, only the c was a color model. Everything else was B&W.

Worse still, his one isn't even an 8mb model. So he has a 2/4mb model. Yours truely has a greyscale Palm VX with a whopping 8mb of ram and it now has Palm OS 4.1 (yes, the Palm V series is greyscale! ).

One thing I'd love to do, is add some LEDs, so that when I press the power button to illuminate the backlight, the buttons light up too!

First hpc was a jornada 820, and the first bad thing was when I was in the garage putting it in a case I had dug out of storage I dropped it from about chest high on a concrete floor - landed on the corner. First good thing was when I put the battery back in and hit the power, it came on just fine :-) talk about sinking feelings and complete joy in the same few moments.

Went to a mobilepro 880 and all good cept it don't make coffee! :-)
