Is there no way to enable recycle bin for removable disks too?
As for the sound card, I know that when I reboot, windows uses the BIOS sounds, and does not see the sound card.

Anyway, for the recycle bin I solved with the MiniBin program. The Video card does not matter, so much if I have to restart and the problem arises, I turn the PC off and on again and I have solved the problem.
We need to understand the Floppy problem, because it prevents you from installing programs.

If you want to install a VNC server and allow a port forward temporarily, I'll have a look for you.

I have no idea how to install in VNC server. It would also be useless if I can't connect it to the internet!
I am thinking of trying to reinstall it.

No, absolutely no.
This is quite a problem, as it prevents me from installing a lot of things. I don't know how to fix the floppy problem.

Let's focus on the network issue, if we can get it on the internet, I can have a look at it with you may be.

I found this thread. Pointertovoid user says they have Transcend CFs that appear as hard drives. Do you know something about it?
https://msfn.org/board/topic/154487-win2000-on-16gb-compact-flash-drive/

I found an answer for a guy on this topic, regarding using the ATCFWCHG.COM program if it worked on all brands:

I cannot answer if it's working with any brand. But maybe another hint: Transcend cards are somehow smart enough and flip their fixed disk bit on their own. Cheers, Florian

I also found this as an alternative:
http://wiki.icomp.de/wiki/TrueIDE
https://amigastore.eu/en/29-bigramplus.html

I have found that OEM Compact Flash cards are sold already set up to be seen as hard drives. Now sandisk no longer produces.
https://kb-de.sandisk.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/51/~/enabling-fixed-disk-mode-on-sandisk-compactflash-cards

Reading this I discovered Transcend industrial CF seen as hard drives.

I have no further knowledge to share.

This is why I said if you can find a compatible one. It'll almost certainly be a second hand marker find if you do.

I found from notes from 2008 when I last did something like this. It seems that I used the attached replacement driver (solid state filter driver-xpfildrvr1224_320.zip) that I still had on disk. I'm moderately certain I remember using it under Windows 2000.

I had it running on a Siemens Nixdorf... I think it was a Scenic Mobile 500. Windows 2000, 2.5" IDE to CF adapter modded into the drive tray. It was a Pentium 133 and I'm pretty sure that I recall over-maxing the RAM (and it worked).
Sadly I didn't write anything about it on my site or the process.

It ran pretty well though.

I have read about this program. BUT I know this change can definitely ruin CF.
Anyway from china I bought an 8GB industrial CF. With that, when it arrives, I should have solved the problem.

Request:
The Windows 2000 installation CD on newer PCs will boot without the use of installation boot floppies.
Now Windows 98SE and WIndows ME start without using Floppies.
Why does the WIndows 2000 Installation CD on my IBM 330 PC fail to boot, but do I have to use boot floppies?
Is there a way to make the CD boot without floppy?
