| Thank you
The star trek game is reeeeeally hard work and coding. I will finish it soon. In a few weeks. There are currently other projects.
But it would be sad to do a lot of work with that game and the downloadcounter will stay at 1-2 |

Have you thought (to avoid legal action ) of splitting copyrightable assets into a separate set that an end user can make themselves and thus allow you to sell it?
Then someone else can like copy the graphics assets to replace the default generic ones? If that makes sense?
I’m not trying to tell you what to do, just try to give ideas where I can. |

no, that's not the point. The Star Trek game will be free. It's just a lot of work, even if it's fun, and it's just a shame if the download counter is still at 1 after weeks. |

Have you tried letting people know on Reddit?

If that makes sense?

| What cpu architecture and CE version are you?
It looks like I had it working on CE6 x86 presumably after extracting the cab and running the vb file manually |

It's CE5 x86! Manually extracting the .VB and running the file always works for me, it's seemingly just this program that crashes in that specific way. I'm just wondering what it could be doing to cause that. It's a shame because it's such a good program |

| Are you saying that it does not crash if you extract it manually? |

No, sorry for the confusion
I can only run it by manually extracting it in the first place, since there's no x86 installer (and even then I'd be manually extracting it since I don't want my eVB installation to be touched )
I meant to say that it runs at first, but as soon as I try to study any cards it crashes Edited by I dunk for bananas 2024-01-17 11:18 AM

| Gotcha' - I was confused about that given x86
That is going to be tricky to debug. I am not even sure that the debugger will work on true x86 (and you'd need an ActiveSync connection between the debugger and the x86 machine ) - plus you would need the source code.
Just to confirm:
bar.bmp is present
And these are all present and regsrvce'd:
MSCECommandBar.dll
pvbform2.dll
MSCEListView.dll
MSCEFile.dll
pvbhost2.dll
vbscript.dll
pvbload.exe
MSCEImageList.dll
vbsen.dll
