| Anyone knows the famous text based Basic Game STAR TREK?
I guess it was 1971 when it came out first.
Well... it's time for a CE version.
Show you a screenshot tomorrow of my work in progress |

| Thank you. But argh... that is going to be a horrible programming.
I got only the original basic listing.
The game isn't made for labels and forms so I have to rewrite the whole program. |

Ok...everything works fine now.
The problem was a sub function. Don't know why but...ah... now it works
Next app is coming. Will take some screenshots today.
It's an app which I will also use by myself. Glad you sorted it I stand by my point about runtime bundling though. It's caused oodles of frustration and hard resets for people over the last 25 or so years |

| Yes... thats true.
All the...
For i=1 to 24
Print mid$ (Q1,1,2 ) +A$ (i )
Next i
...stuff...uaaahh..
And in eVB I can't set up labels with an index. So it is HORROR.
But... the way I did it, it works! |

| For now it is possible to navigate the ship through the sector shown on the picture.
You can set a course and the warp speed to move the Enterprise.
If you collide with a star, starbase or Klingon cruiser you lost energy.
If you move wider than the sector is then you will move into the next quadrant. Wrong inputs and your crew will report.
It is still a textbased screen but for a first version I think it is ok.

| It is reeeeeally a challenge.
Not only because of the limitations of eVB, also the screen limitation is cruel.on a PC it would be a powerful graphical strategy game.
On a CE device.... ok I will give my best. |
