Compiling a VBCE 1.0 program for VBCE 2.0

Theoretically, is it possible to compile a program created for VBCE 1.0 for VBCE 2.0 by importing the project?
Obviously assuming one has the source.
Or are there any quirks to sort out?

Whenever it happens to me to upgrade a project, I'm just creating a new one and manually copy every part of the source code.

It might be tricky if you have to use an IDE with controls, menus, and all, it implies to remake the same interface from scratch.
