| I was wanting to jump into PocketDOS more again, and was interested in trying to get FreeDOS 1.3 running (as opposed to the default 1.0).
^I know there's not a huge difference between 1.0 and 1.3 per se, meaning 1.0 is likely sufficient. It's more of a "Try and get the latest and greatest"
Has anyone had any success with it?
Are there any huge system requirements changes between the two?
^I tried this last year, but that funky graphical installer kept hanging when I tried.
Maybe I should try to install 1.1 or 1.2 first?

| I tried the default install and the floppy install / text only install and it keeps hanging and not letting me advance further.
I suspect it’s an issue with the cpu instruction set used by pocketdos is too heavy for the 186/286 I have setup for pocketdos (I know pocketdos has 386 support but I worry that’s too heavy for my usage so I’d prefer to stay away from that )
I think the next step will be to try to install elsewhere and bring into pocketdos manually.
