Is there a good guide for getting CeGCC setup on Linux?
I assume it’s better to use an older version ?
I was interested in trying out to see if I could port anything with the experimental x86 CeGCC

There is an easiest method, by using a docker image.

Just install Docker (container environment)
Then just pull it.
I tried using this and it worked.

https://hub.docker.com/r/brainhackers/gen1_builder

I'm not sure about x86 can be compiled using this. (ARM is ok)

I've tried it on current Debian and Ubuntu and most of its lib dependency is so out of date in apt that it won't work without recompiling it.

Thank you all for the help.
I think I’ll try that Docker image just to get my feet wet in how to do this, but my ultimate goal would be a VM where I can setup an older version of Linux so I can use the last x86 supporting release.
I just need to figure out what version that is.

Hey @Karpour, thanks for your help!
I'm having trouble getting Linux running on my computer correctly, but once I do, I intend to follow your link!
