Hi,

On the 3MX, they have slot for what I assume is a Psion proprietary flash card.

Question is whether there is any way to connect these cards to a PC with a card reader or ?

Or were they only usable in the 3MX itself?

Thanks,

Mark

Hmm, I've never used a 3mx, so I don't have the answer. Do you think you might post the query on the Psion Digest? The Digest could probably could use the action, I haven't seen a post in months.

If you're not on the list, let me know and I'll post for you.

Jake

Thanks for the suggestion, Jake!

Was not aware of the Psion Digest....if not too much trouble to post, that would be great!

I learn something new every day here!

Best,

Mark

Its proprietary and as far as I'm aware there was never a PC card reader for them so transfer was over RS232 port in the machine itself.

Figured that this was the case, but figured it didn't hurt to ask.....

Thank you for your input.

Only machines I have now with that port are my little DOS palmtops......

Oh well....

I know it's too late now but I thought you might find it amusing that there apparently IS such a device! Albeit vanishingly rare at this point.

Pulster does run a store where he sells random Psion stuff.

https://pulster.de/

I don't see that device in his collector's items page, but you could always email and ask him. He's pretty responsive.
