Hi, I'm looking for an application for a MIPS HPC Pro device that you can view .bmp and .jpg images in and has an easy way to get from one image in a folder to the next. Similar to the way the WinXP image viewer or slideshow thing works. If there is no such program then thanks for reading anyways. And if this has been asked before, sorry to waste your time.

There are so many, I can't even begin to think of a starting point...

How about SeePic http://www.geocities.com/dennykf/prog/seepic/index.html

or Rescoe: http://www.resco.net/downloads/byplatforms.asp

or EasyViewer: http://www.canon-ist.co.jp/product/ev/down.html

or Pocket Album: http://www.conduits.com/products.asp

and probably a whole lot more....

Rich

Wow, thanks, Rich. I didn't think there was that many. I suppose I should have searched a little harder but they all work great and now I've got to choose a favourite. That doesn't happen very often. Thanks again!

Trial and error is the only answer you will get from me....probably I would guess, but no way to tell for sure. Some vendors have versions for 2.0 CE, and most authors wrote their software with that in mind.

There's also an Image Viewer app included in Microsoft's Plus! package for H/PC. It's still available for free from Microsoft's Download Center. (It works pretty well on my H/PCs, though it lacks an automatic [single-tap] slideshow function - you have to tap on a button on the app bar to advance to the next image.)
