I've been reading for a few days and I think it was time to register and introduce myself.
I thought this is the most appropriate place, correct me if I'm wrong.
My name is Fede, I'm 54 years old and I'm Spanish. I usually move around the GP32Spain forums.
English is not my forte. More or less I read it if it's standard and I use google a lot, which is making me stop practising it, because it translates everything automatically.
I'm pretty bad at writing, so I apologize in advance.
I'm a lover of small clamshell devices and own quite a few.
Perhaps the most curious are the Ben Nanonote, the OpenPandora and the Pyra.
I don't consider myself a collector but I do buy one from time to time, as long as it's cheap.
The models that have brought me here are the Jornada 680 and the Intermec 6651.
Particularly this last one I'm trying to restore because it was quite aged. I'll open a thread and I'll tell you about it.
That's my biggest hobby, taking devices and trying to restore them. Sometimes I succeed, sometimes I don't.
Otherwise, I'm going to see if I can program something for Windows CE.
I've chosen PocketC because I think it's the most affordable. Besides, I'll learn some C on the way.
I warn you that I will write in Spanish and I will give it to DeepL to translate it. I apologize again if there are mistakes.
I can tell you about Malaga.
In the Technology Park, a few of the biggest ones have disappeared (big for Malaga).
I also see that others are being created and that right now they are small.
I am not very up to date on the rest of Spain. The only thing a colleague from Madrid tells me is that things are at a standstill right now for senior engineers.
I'm sorry I can't give more information.
