Hi,
I have tried to find the XTM PC Emulator - I have just bought a revo for £10 which was a good deal and I have got it all working by cleaning the charging socket and buying a compatible adapter off amazon for about £11, i will look at replacing the batteries soon too,
Does anyone have or no where i can get the emulator (Last version was 3.0.8 and released as freeware) I have tried internet archive but the download link is dead
Thank you!

Super - thank you!

I had just managed to find version 3.0.6 hidden in the depths of the internet but this will be much better

I have ordered a dock which i will use with my Toshiba 210CS that I just picked up from the Princethorpe radio rally for just £2! - all working too

I have also found Encore so i will hopefully be enjoying doom also!

I own a few other systems including Amigas and also Metawatches as well as cdi and other games machimes

Sounds as if you're on a roll. Do post back with your success/failure. I've never used an emulator on my Revo.

I've managed to break the plastic socket for the battery on the little circuit board - does anyone have a replacement board or is this fixable as it pulled off some of the green of the circuit board - i'm going to attempt a soldering but not hopeful!

Managed to order another Revo for £20 - hopefully ok or at least i can use the power/battery/IR module board in mine, my dock came and it does show a green light but won't boot without the battery i guess?

You have my sympathy. I'm absolutely terrible with Revo battery replacement; yet again, practice does not perfect. You're wise to simply get replacement kit rather than replacement parts. As for running a Revo without a battery, I never tried that, so can't help there, either.

Still, if you can keep finding these Revos at such great prices, sky's the limit for endless repairs
