I'm trying to extract cabs out of this host installer:
https://web.archive.org/web/20141228090050/http://download.juniper.net/software/aaa_802/public/oac/WM_Client_454/Odyssey%20Client%20for%20Windows%20Mobile.exe

and when I run in my Windows 2000 VM that has ActiveSync installed, I get a "Odyssey Access Client requires that Microsoft ActiveSync be installed, and , that it's version be 3.7 or higher"

7Zip doesn't let me extract it either.
And the temp folder doesn't show it
Any ideas?

Try AS 3.7.0 instead of 3.8?

Thank you!
Is a dirty uninstall and reinstall good enough to trick the installer ?
Dirty meaning just uninstalling 3.8 and installing 3.7.0?
I’ll try it later today

It still didn't work with Microsoft ActiveSync 3.7.3083

Edit: I got it working
I used this
https://github.com/Bioruebe/UniExtract2/releases/tag/v2.0.0-rc.3
to extract the InstallShield exe
then used UniExtract again to extract the msi.

It's a very powerful tool. No need for the clunky temp file extraction anymore

If they've added installshield CAB formatting, fantastic!
