| Holy smokes! You can now read, write, and rip minidisc. Even Hi-MD is supported in Web Minidisc now. I just burned some classical 24-bit, 192KHz music FLACs I downloaded from a store to see how much much worse they sound lossily transcoded to Hi-SP (like 256 kbps mp3). Unsurprisingly, the 20-year-old Hi-MD doesn't sound much worse. Maybe some loss of sound stage but I'm not sure...guess that means it's good enough.
I used the electron version AppImage of Web Minidisc because I couldn't get the Chrome App to work properly on my Artix (Arch -systemd) PC.
