So, now I will clone the windows 98 disk. Then I will try windows 95 again.
With the file you passed me.

Perfect, it connects! I tried to install windows again and this time I immediately used the file you passed me.
I'm installing IE5.5sp2 directly from the site http://windowsupdaterestored.com/

Ok, it works and connects to the internet.
Now let's proceed in order:
First: how do I view the icon of the PC connected to the internet? From the photo below, you can see that it doesn't appear.
Second: how can I connect the PC to the internet manually and not automatically?

Windows 95 doesn't have a lights daemon, so unless the driver provides one, there isn't one.

Unless you can software eject the USB module, unplug the ethernet cable.

I'm sad... Too bad. For the connection, maybe there is a way to make it connect as if it were a modem? So I decide when to connect it to the internet.

There isn't, you'd have to disable it in device manager or disconnect the Ethernet cable. Ethernet doesn't use the DUN stack.

OK, thanks a lot. In any case, the device works and navigates.
Question, is there a browser that can allow me to surf, decently compatible with Windows 95?
Firewall and Antivirus?
A working mail manager? Outlook 2000 doesn't work.

Opera 10 is about the limit
https://retrosystemsrevival.blogspot.com/2018/01/opera-1063-for-windows-95.html?m=1

I think 98 can run Opera 12 or K-Mellon 74 with KernelEx installed.

Your problem with everything, outlook included is that there is no SHA2 support.

Opera 10 works quite well. I wanted to try the K-Mellon 1.5.4 version compatible with windows 95, but unfortunately the following message appears:

Another thing, this message appears on Opera:

The program seems to work fine anyway, I'm wondering if I can ignore this message or should I update that file?

You have to install KernelEx first, but I think it is 98 only... not 100%.

As to the missing DLL, yes, grab the dll and regsrv it.

It works great, even better than Opera. But there is a problem, I cannot visit many sites, because a message appears regarding the Security Protocol, which is not enabled. Do you know how to enable it?

EDIT:

Ok, solved. Everything works!
Do you know of a mail manager that still works today and an antivirus? For the Firewall I put ZoneAlarm.

I downloaded version 1.54 with TLS support.
