| I was reading this article on gravitational lensing:
https://www.universetoday.com/163994/civilizations-could-use-gravita...
. . . when I noticed a name in the middle of the article that sounded familiar: Viktor Toth. Didn't know that the same guy who wrote a few CE programs and put out a couple of books on C++ programming was also a key figure in the study of the gravitational lensing effect predicted by Einstein's theory of general relativity. Some of the biggest minds have dabbled in CE. |

| @CE Geek, you really dropped the ball here, this thread should have been titled "What the Toth?!"
But I guess you couldn't handle the Toth. |

| If we had a sleepover in this forum, we could play Toth or Dare.

| Toth of the matter is that @CE Geek and I are far too old and grumpy these days to stay up late playing Toth or Dare with you young whipper-snappers. |

| If Viktor ever sees this thread, I fear that he might blow his Toth. |

| PS- I've bought both of his programs - the Telnet one and Task Manager.
He's a very responsive and nice guy
I think Rich put up a review of the task manager at one point.
Cash me outside, how about Toth! |

| @torch I was just looking at Pocket Telnet. Is it possible to go full-screen? From the screenie in the SCL, it seems not.

| I need to figure out the dependency - I get an error when I try to launch on the Sigmarion III
I'll try to add screenshots once I figure it out - also- he's very responsive over email - so once we figure out if it needs maximize support for the Sig, maybe he can update it for us..who knows? |

| If the Toth be known, the world is a better place with you in it, @torch.

| Okay, it looks like the CE.NET version requires 4.2.
I used Executability Check to rewrite it for version 4.10 and it runs.
It looks like the window itself maximizes, but not the "terminal content"
I sent a screenshot to show what I mean.
I didn't check the CE 3.0 ARM version to see if it just works without needing Exec Check
May be worth emailing Mr. Toth to see if he can add a new version which maximizes for a higher screen resolution? (CAPT0000.jpg)Attachments ---------------- CAPT0000.jpg (22KB - 0 downloads) |
