| The authenticated Netgear MA701 can idle at under five percent but has constant 100% spikes.
When the card is disabled via DevPSwitch.exe, the cpu idles b/w 2-13%
When the card is ejected, cpu idles the same, 2-13%
With the card ejected and machine reset, cpu idles at 1-5%
So cf wifi seems to involve less of a drain, but can't be truly disabled other than ejected/reset.
I was getting poor battery life with cf wifi as well.
