Just found these, almost considering sending my 790 back and snatching one of these. I probably won't but someone else here I am sure can benefit:

I'm so tempted at times for a 720 but DSTN 1/2 vga will drive me crazy after using my TFT 6651.

Can someone ask the seller what exactly is the "very special browser emulator" included in the package? Netfront warez? It's getting so every ebay vendor has something to hide.

edit: I'm thinking VNC or Terminal server which is really misleading. No desktop=no special browser.

eh, it isn't upgraded (or i'm missign something). my 720 is just like this. you can install all the software for yourself

i hate those ebay sellers with this kind of description

and just fyi, maybe i'm not as requiring as you but after using the sig3 exclusively for a couple of days (with a very very good TFT and high res), the jornada dstn hvga screen doesn't drive me crazy.. it doesn't look so good as before but i still like it. i guess we're different

I'm not sure about the prices of Jornadas you all have seen, but if that price is in USD, then I think its a steal. I don't have that kind of cash to throw around, but man if I did...

I don't trust the descriptions either, but the 720 + CF + Wifi would be perfect for HPC newbies.

350$ a steal? then what was my 720's price??? 175$... (with similar accessories except wifi)
my 728 was 325$ with more accessories than these 720's (except wifi again, but that was 35$)

i think you can easily get a j720 for 250$ even on ebay.

I passed on a private 720 with accessories and spare battery for $275 some months back. I passed on another before that for $250. I don't think this ebay deal is that good.

I've found what I want on forums or pawn shops for less than the best ebay deals. I'm tempted to get a 790 for a friend because usedhandhelds is an awesome price. So what if you pay $20 less on ebay for a 790? Think of all the headaches you might have. No aggravation is worth paying more for me.

Cmonex, go outside on a nice sunny day with your 720 and Sig 3 side by side. See what I mean? I don't think I can go backwards after my 6651, but as you see I have a borrowed 720 to play with, so my mind may change.

How do you find the kb on the Sig? Easier or no than the 720? How about so many pixels in what, a 5" screen? Readable at a distance or no?

Amen on paying the extra $20. I paid an extra $50 for mine to avoid eBay. My experience hasn't been too great, but I must say it will be easier to get ahold of someone when I do need to.

UsedHandhelds is out of stock, again. They had a bunch of 790's yesterday... My guess is the eBayers snatched them all up.
