[FA:Global] Velo memory

I found on ebay 8mb memory cards ! These are rare to find these days.



You need this if you want to buy the CE 2.0 upgrade rom, or the upgrade rom doesnt work. Has to have the expanded memory. Just thought id throw that out there for yall. :-)

Please only post this sort of thing in the H/PC:Bay, and with the correct titles.

Id hadd a brand new in box Velo and i had the 2.0 card but finding a memory card was impossible last i looked, so i ended up selling the Velo and now i wish i hadnt :-(

I just dont like CE 1.0

Thanks for the post. When I was a teenager, I had the Velo 1. It was a neat machine !

Don’t be too put off by CE1. We’ve found a lot of new programs for it the last year or so. Rich and C:Amie have found a lot too in the scl ! Take a look sometime.

There’s even that new klock app that just got released by a developer that has a ce1 version

I have the CE 2.0 ROM and if you buy this memory you can have 2.0 on Velo 1 ;-)

I sctully found a bunch of people selling V 2.0 roms for $20-30.

Now i cant find the people selling the 2.0 rom. I can never seem to find both of hese at the same time. I have a like new Velo, in box. But i need the 2.0 Rom and this 8mb card to make it happen. I think im just gonna pray that a Velo 500 will fall into my lap 1 lol

If anyone knows where i can get the CE 2.0 rom please do share ;-)

I’d recommend creating an eBay search alert for anything Philips Velo related or if you’re methodical like I am, just keep looking every week. It may take a few months, but I’m sure something will come up.
