I think you partly answered a question I have pertaining to why used Jornada 720\728 maintain such a high resell price . . . Now, I realize the bootloader capability makes me want a 720!
Seriously, what is the percentage of 720/728 owners that have actually used Linux? Significant enough to drive its resale value so high? I don't think so. You are the first and only person I met that wants to buy a 720 just to run Linux, afaik anyway.
In case you haven't noticed, this site added a new forum section just for Linux on HPCs not that long ago. As far as I can tell, people generally do it for fun, or at best use it as a supplement to the HPC system.
