I have no idea but if i plug in a USB drive, my mac see's it. But the VB gives me the error above the min i plug it in. So theres a setting not correct or a driver issue ?
What programs are you trying to install on your devices that don’t have a cab file anyway?
Also I was wrong about Parallels. It won’t work with XP on m1
I have a bunch of software thats .exe files. I already have a folder of just .cab files of programs and games etc. But theres a decent chunk of software in .exe form id like to install onto some of my palmtops. Im only keeping two of the 14 I have. Jornada 680e and a 690. The rest im selling so im sure a lot of the newer software is in .cab form, but some of the older software is in .exe form.
Also hows everyones luck been with freedos ? Also wanted to get Linux running on one of mine but i dont know for the life of me how to do it.
Its a big list lol. I gave up on getting XP and USB to work so i uninstalled all that stuff off my Mac. As i said in another post i found an old laptop but had no AC unit. I spent under $20 for a new AC unit for the laptop with fingers crossed it works still. Also a buddy is giving me a laptop but has a broken screen so i need a monitor lol.
Thanks for all the help tho everyone i appreciate it, was fun trying to get it to work.
Im looking for newer version of Pocket DOS that will run on CE 2.11 or earlier, but thats one that is an .exe that i cant find a .cab of. Ill post a few more im looking for.
