| AC adaptor came early ! The computer turned right on and im installing XP. So this was worth the wait. Hopefully it installs successfully. Ill let you all know in a bit when its done. Fingers crossed. Hoping to have my 680e and 690 hooked up with Active Sync soon. :-) |

| Must be an issue with this laptop. Ive tried 3 different HD's (2 mechanical and 1 SSD) and all of them formatted but in Windows XP setup its not seeing the drives. I guess this laptop is messed up. :-(
Man o man. I gotta find an XP machine thats already ready to go this has driven me mad trying to get a XP laptop or a XPemulation to work. What am i doing wrong here ? |

I changed a few settings in the bios and it finally saw a drive. Now its formatting the drive ! :-) Man o man i need a break here. Fingers crossed it all works out here. Ill keep yall updated. :-)
But its 10mins in and still at 0% formatting. I know these drives work as i use these with other computers. Not really sure what the issue is. Ill let it sit and see if it formats :-( I keep getting teased with this computer. One min something works and the next nope.

| OK i got it to work by doing a quick format. Now its copying files to the HDD. Im gonna have to copy all the stuff off this HD and get it on a SSD later. But its working ;-) FINGERS CROSSED! I just want Active Sync !!!! lol

Ok i have the laptop all good to go, except i cant find the driver for the Serial to USB adapter. Ive tried multiple drivers with no luck. Here is a pic of the unit. RS810-105B is the model. Ive tried looking everywhere. Any help would rock ! :- )

| Ok so i got the driver to work, im installing PocketDOS as we speak thru Active Sync 3.8. WOOT WOOT !
Now i am gonna go nuts and install everything ive been wanting to install. Its slow, but its working :-) |
