[FS:USA] Jornada 600 series memory upgrade

Say they have it in stock. But is it worth the $75 ? Or can i find it cheaper elsewhere ? I have a 680e id love to upgrade the ram on to 32mb. What are your thoughts ? And i hope i posted this in the right section. Someone may have really been looking for one of these. ;-)

I'd be patient, keep check eBay for a month or two. If nothing by then, maybe get it?

so it just depends on how much money you want to spend

The hardest to find roms for me so far have been the CE 2.0 for the NEC Mobilepro 450. I never did find one. But this is up there lol ! I usually have much better luck. Id love to have the extra ram for running linux on the unit. ;-) Hoping tomorrow to get a few things in the mail to help make that happen.

But ill be patient with this, i did see for $40 someone had a Jornada 680 motherboard with the rom/ram chip on it. If only itd been a 690 mobo with the 32mb ram. I still may buy the mobo just to have parts for these. I have parts for a lot of the older models not so much the newer.

Does the ram from the 6xx series, work in the 7xx ? I see Usedhandheld has them for the 7xx series.

I emailed usedhandhelds to see if they ever run into these and i emailed a few other places. We shall see.
