| Is there anyway of just receiving newer emails ? Right now its loading from oldest to newest email and this goes back to 2014 ! lol so its either gonna be awhile or B) theres a setting maybe to just receive newest emails ?? Like 100 latest ? Its literally trying to load 4900 + emails dating back to 2014 ! hahah. Gonna be awhile ? Grab a Snickers bar :-) hehe
PS
I deleted the youtube video. If this has to load all my mail, how long will this take ? haha. Im into 2015 right now haha.

| Yes change pop settings to
In the "POP download" section, select Enable POP for all mail or Enable POP for mail that arrives from now on.

| It’s going to fill up your memory. Try to stop it and then redo it with only the new email setting |

| You may as well stop it from syncing. You are not going to be able to use your device after it downloads everything. It could be multiple gb |

| Go to gmail all settings - forwarding and pop/ imap (only works on desktop browser not mobile) and make sure it’s set to enable pop for mail that arrives from now on like in my photo |

| Check this guide
https://npopuk.org.uk/3.05/globaloptions.html#recv
If you want sync to be faster, you can have it just download the email titles not the whole attachments and message content
In addition you can have it show emails in reverse order |

| ^ Awesome thank you ! :- ) I have it just downloading newer mail as i dont need the older mail downloaded onto the unit. It was trying to download mail from as far back as 2014 ! Were talking gigs of mail.
One thing i mentioned in my other post in another thread, do not try exiting the nPOPuk software when its still trying to download new mail. It seems to lock the unit up. So just be patient and wait for it to say its done and then exit the program.
Heres the video (even tho its in another thread )

| Is npopuk installed on internal memory or storage card?

| Storage card. I found out what i was doing wrong, i was trying to exit while it was still trying to download mail. Gotta be patient and let it finish and then exit the program. No issue now that im doing this right ;-)
Remember theres a wrong and right way of doing all of this ;-) |

| Wait its locking up again. Should i install this onto the main memory ? Not sure why it sometimes locks up and other times doesnt when exiting the software. It only locks up when i go to exit the program. And this last time i made sure it was done searching for new mail.

| Okay, I can't find a "source" from newer information, but according to this old readme (which backs up my own "memory" of the matter ):
https://npopuk.org.uk/2.12/ppc/npop_details.html
Quote If nPOPuk is run from the storage card instead of the main memory, be sure the program Exits completely by using File/Exit before removing the card or turning off the machine. RAM is faster and doesn't need this extra care, but must be backed up to avoid data loss if the batteries run down.
There supposedly is a way to set it up so:
1-npopuk is stored on internal storage
2-mailbox data is stored on storage card
Maybe the user guide can assist:
https://npopuk.org.uk/3.05/guide.html
But honestly, if it's working, just follow that quirk you already figured out and you should be fine |

| ^ I thought id figured it out. But for some reason even when its DONE downloading my new mail and i go to exit, it sometimes exits fine and other times it locks the unit up. Not sure why this is happening. I didnt have this happen last night when i was messing with this. Started today when i went to do the video. Weird. Not a huge deal, just strange. |
