My uncle gave me this fantastic HP IPAQ RX3700, with two new working batteries. Everything is there, except the CD which he couldn't find.
You only need to change the backup battery which is worn out.
Can you tell me what type of battery, so I can order it? I can't find the CD on the internet, can you help me. If it's in Italian even better, otherwise I'll settle for the English one.
Lastly, I wonder if this device has a keyboard to attach, like the Palm m100.
I can't find it. I'd love to have one. It would be very convenient to use with a keyboard.

I think I have one of these. When I get home, I'll check.

And here's the PDF manual I think but in EN

Perfect, thank you very much for the file in Italian! This is enough right the drivers are not necessary?
Do you know anything about a keyboard, if any?

I think ActiveSync installs a basic USB driver for use with the PocketPC. I'd try it first and then report back if that doesn't work.
EDIT: I think it supports Bluetooth - I'd try a Bluetooth Keyboard to see if it'll work. But, that IPAQ may only support a much older bluetooth protocol. maybe 1.0 or 2.0?

Never post about a Pocket PC in a section with "Handheld PC" in its name.

Everything works! I synced outlook with this HP handheld!
Also the Bluetooth works perfectly, I connected the HP device to my Xiomi phone and transferred an image without problems!
Now we need to understand if a simple Bluetooth keyboard can actually communicate without problems with the HP handheld. For file transfer it has no problems.
Now all I have to do is change the backup battery, but I don't know how.
I would also like to get a new battery, because I realized that one of the two I have doesn't work very well. I think he's dying.
I attach images with the characteristics.

Battery features:

Device Feature:

There is a sticker that says: Removing the seal voids the warranty.
There seems to be something underneath them, maybe the backup battery is there?

Let me think how to explain this - and I'm not an expert - and I could be completely wrong! So I wouldn't want you to risk damaging your device..

If you're absolutely hell-bent on replacing it - I would be scared to advise on this because it could make the issue worse, or fry the device

BUTTTTTT - here's my theory

It almost looks like a coin cell battery (think a watch battery), that has a cradle that it sits into on the bottom so it supplies power that way into that red cord you see into the device. then the whole thing is wrapped in the green plastic.

EDIT: Try this!!
https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/HP+iPAQ+h4155+Backup+Battery+Replacement/4946

Maybe this will assist.
Again be careful since it's not the same IPAQ - but the model of the battery almost matches, yours I think is a "103" the page shows a "104"!

Edit 2: Never mind, that guide just shows you how to get to that point you were already at. Sorry to waste your time.
