Are any of you diehard Calligrapher users? I would be lost without it, and for a tablet I don't know of a viable alternative.

Anyway, I'm using 6.6 and I'm eagerly waiting for the 7.x build which was promised by phatware.

Till then, I think I've noticed a memory leak with 6.6 It takes about 2mb of RAM at launch, after about 24 hours it's creeped up to 2.5mb. I softreset daily so perhaps it would continue to leak if allowed to.

Has anyone else noticed this? How much ram does 6.6 use when you first launch it?

I really like Calligrapher too, Wally!

Haven't noticed memory leak, but doesn't mean that it isn't happening on
my Sig3....

How do you check for that?

Hi archiemark.

The easiest test is to take your Sig off any sort of standby (have it on AC), start CG, note the amount of RAM used.
Leave the Sig for a few hours. First thing to check when you come back is the amount of RAM used. The difference is the memory leaked, most likely by CG.

We believe that we'll see a 6.7 release, rather than a 7.x release next - unless something drastic has changed inside Phatware since I reviewed 6.6.

I myself have no seen a memory leak.

My bad, 6.6 is the 7.2 ppc core. I'll look further, perhaps CG isn't the leak.
