flash cards not working

ok I have tryed 2 flash cards in my pda and with both I get a unidentifed card error the device has been hard reset as it has been packed up for about months with no batteries of any kind in it I opened it up to check for bent pins there is a slight bend in one of the longer pins on the end but if i insert a card with the back off i can see that all pins are going into the card so any advise would be great

ok i go the problem fixed turns out the card wasn't seating right now it is odd it will see my 8mb kodak card but read the 256mb edge as unknown any advice?

and could anyone recommend a wifi car i was looking at the sandisk wifi/128 but now sure how hard it will be to get it working in CE2.0

the sandisk wifi card won't work on 2.0, sorry.

256 MB card: try to format it to fat16, not fat32.

I don't think anybody is having any luck with the wifi/128 card - have you checked the HCL?

it works on the jornada 720 fine.

unfortunately, the HCL isn't complete..
