I currently use MS Money 2k on my desktop and have a palm m505 with a piece of software by ultrasoft that interacts with money very well.
I just purchased the journada 680e (didn't realize how old it was) and would like to switch to using that...
Any suggestions on what would be a good compliment to ms money on the ppc?

Are you looking for a "replacement" for Money, for your Jornada 680e? MS offers a version of Money for handheld devices. I don't know how well it would work though. You'd have to check the requirements on both ends.

MS Money CE for HPC (freeware) - Not one of my favorites, but it can't hurt to try it.

The J680e runs Windows CE 2.11 and has a SH3 processor!

Did you download the money.exe file from the link I sent you and tried installing it on your 680e?

Sorry it takes so long to answer, hard to squeze in time for projects in the personal realm.
I did install it lat night... it will not find my installment of money 2k on the desktop... any fixes?
Also it may be a moot point because I was looking at it and it did not have a way to view upcoming bills (at least not that I saw)

AFAIK, hpc money is pretty limited. There's no pending payments display and such, but is is supposed to sync with money on your desktop. IIRC, money on the desktop is the master, and changes made in money on the hpc aren't carried over at sync. Not 100% sure but that's what I recall.

IMO, hpc money is best used as a simple standalone app. For that, it's as good as freeware gets.

I use Cash Organizer but I'm sure it won't run on a 6x0. So I'm out of ideas, sorry.

I agree and am willing to pay for software if there is one that works...
