| Well, I went and ordered an x50v w/BT keyboard from Dell
I know, shame shame dirty shame I wanted something easily pocketable as I plan on donating my 790 to the cause of mips *nix - I think I may look into porting Debian at some point
So! Start with the shunning now, I suppose. |

hey don't worry. just don't forget about your nice MP either... keep your promise about porting *nix on it.
oh and you'll find the bt keyboard is awkward oh and VGA res on 3,5".. no comment (on the borders of usability.. ) on the other hand, qvga is the default.. we all know that *sucks*! |

Hey, a man needs his hobbies! I'm looking forward to porting *nix to the 790 (and other MIPS handhelds - at least ) and can't wait until I get paid so's I can get myself a nice microdrive to get it started with.
And I don't doubt VGA at that res will be painful ;p However, there's a port of open transport tycoon for the PPC that should run very nicely |

I dunno, somebody'd have to donate me a test unit Isn't PS working on an ARM distro of Debian?
And yes, Pocket PCs do make good toys. I'm not looking forward to the so-so battery life I know this thing will have, though |

| I have an old PPC on my desk, but it doesn't come with me anywhere. Even if I get a VGA PPC, it'll simply be an upgrade for the one on my desk.
For games on the go, I usually use the Smartphone. But that will also be upgraded, as I just reserved myself a Gameboy Micro, woohoo |

So, what do you call an ex Piddle PC user that goes over to handhelds?
Oh and my Piddle Recorder PC does mainly that, record! Now it mainly resiudes on my desk. The HPCs are OLDER but go almost everywhere!
Shame I am forced back into piddle PCs again! (I need a keyboard in my pocket REAL BAD and the 3.5" Touch screen is enough to make me scream! )
EDIT: Oh and I don't have any women except my sister that drives me up the wall. I suppose I have my very own version of Jordon though (without the inflatables and spends less cash! ). Edited by Wessex_nut 2005-08-25 10:32 AM
