I don't know if this has been mentioned before, but does it count as a handheld PC? (i-mate)

As the title says and I came across this while looking for GSM PC cards, just for the fun of it, I went browsing for a little more, here is the device:

Looks nice but small, probably be an excellent replacement for my iPAQ and mobile put together!

yes it would be the perfect machine for me..
IF it had a 5" screen with 800x480 (like sig3). also, i'm not sure about the keyboard. everyrhing else is perfect with it.

(it is the htc universal and it has already been discussed here many times)

We've had this argument on the board before. Look for a thread and news posts on the TMobile MDA4 (MDA IV) or posts on the HTC Universal. They are the same device.
It looks like a nice beast, and if they'd not wasted so much screen potential I'd say a big yes... as it is I'm still wary until I see one in the flesh to make up my mind.

yeah.. probably winmobile doesnt support a different screen res (wide screen) and the ppc apps would support it even less.
