faxing with a mobile phone

Hi, I feel I should be able to find the solution here but I've looked and can't see it so will have to ask

I downloaded the GenIRDA modem details and have my Jornada 820 connecting to the net via my Siemens S55. But I can't get it to send faxes with bFax Pro - the option to select Generic IRDA doesn't exist in the modem list. Can anyone tell me how to get it there please?

Can't you just connect with the right COM port?

Thank you yes I can! When it didn't work I can only think I had the phone positioned too close or something because it wouldn't find or make the link - just tried this morning and it's fine!
