Storage name probs

Hi

I've successfully changed the names of the storage cards (to "blue disk" and "green disk" ) but for some reason, doing so makes the size of the backup file created by HPBackup go from around 2mb to 11.5mb. Is this normal? It means that backup takes soooo long that I think it would be quicker to just juggle the order I put the cards in till they're right?

sorry if, as with my last question, I'm asking the obvious thanks

I'll take a guess on this one.

HPBackup uses hard coded paths for the Storage Cards, in changing them it no longer sees a 'Storage Card' folder (which it's ignoring) and is treating the new name 'Blue/Green Disk' as an ordinary folder :. backing it up as well

Does it about tally with the total of what is in RAM/Storage Card?

Yep! Makes sense now - I'd thought it was trying to back up the cards but didn't see why it would Thanks for explaining.

So... I need a different backup prog, I guess. Do I have options, please?

thanks again
