Workabout Pro and DOS emulator

Hello! I'm trying to run a DOS program in a Psion Workabout Pro mobile device. This program uses the serial port.
To do this task, I use a DOS emulator (Pocket DOS ver. 1.09).
The DOS program seems to run well, but I can only see some of the texts of the program. For example, I can't see what the menu says.
I have tried other DOS emulator (pDOSBox1.1). With that I can see all the text but it seems that it doesn't have support for serial port.
Can somebody help me? Can it be that my problem is related to the fonts of the Windows CE 4.20 or with UNICODE?

I looked up pDOSBox and it doesn't have support for serial ports or parallel ports since pockepc works without them, so that program doesn't look like it'll be much help to you.

I was wondering how you got pDOSBox to run. Did you use ppc .dlls in its directory?
