Choking on the stench of ambition in Washington DC

I don't mean to sound pessimistic, and I hope I'm wrong, but I think the pDOSBox train has left the station, and without an HPC port. This poll has taken months and we still don't have a hundred people. The programmer has already expressed ambivalence about the viability and that was weeks and weeks ago.

Here's the PocketWall Forum: http://forum.pocketwall.com/viewforum.php?f=1 and if you go back to older threads, you'll see he was less than enthusiastic a while ago--I can't imagine such a glacial poll will change his mind

There are to my knowledge 3 DOS alternatives to the H/PC.

PocketDOS:

+Full screen dos

-Only 80186 support (the CPU plugins doesn't seem to work ok and the setcpu option doesn't help much either).
-Commercial programme

Pocketwall pDOSbox:

Verssion 0.63 p1:

+80286/386 processor support
+Has 320x240 and 640x480 support (I use the latter along with Winwatch for 80x25 character support and the pan up and down)
+Free

-Lacks 640x240 support.
-Reletively slow

I have not managed to get either version 1.1 and 2.0 to work on my J720.

n0ps pDOSbox 0.63:

+Fast (use it with GAPI gx.dll)
+Free

-Lacks 640x240 support

So yes it would be very nice if someone could make a pDOSbox version with full screen 640x240 support.
