BSquare Win CE 4.1 - IrDa Activesync Connection

Hello!

I try to get a ActiveSync connection via IrDa on my new BSquare Maui/Vodafone Powerhandheld but it is not possible. If I want to start ActiveSync on my Windows CE .Net 4.1 device it will always say that I have to connect the device with the USB cradle.
Is it not possible to get the ActiveSync connection with the desktop PC and synchronisation via IrDa?
