Leo´s Flight Simualtor download from Handheld Attitude. The original web site of Leo has the files corrupted.

Warfare is a PPC commercial software.

I'm still a fan of the old-fashioned stuff: solitaire (I like the cards bouncing around a la desktop Windows); Tetris (Peter's GameBox is cool for this & some extra games); Wordz (Boggle-style letter-grid game); Invaders (almost an exact clone - thanx, Scott Ludwig); & Same Game. I've also gotten hold of WizardWorks' Casino Pack (US $6 on eBay, including S & H), which is a pretty good emulation of Vegas casino games - the graphics are good & the rules are consistent with Vegas. (I was getting tired of not being able to double down and/or surrender in other CE blackjack games.) I'm also considering H/PC versions of Monopoly & Scrabble that are still out there.

Honestly, though, I've been somewhat disappointed at the dearth of freeware games. Palm OS is still way ahead in this department. (Sure, the games aren't as sophisticated, but sometimes all you want is the game, not fancy effects.)

Someday I'll figure out how to run some of these games on the 900c...

My preferred games...

net hack
Slay
conquest.

Other than that, I have a bunch, but none that I play much.

Hello,

Are any of these games compatible with CE 2 and where can I find them?

Invaders & PocketChess are for sure. You can find both on several sites, including Tucows, PDATopSoft, and others.

This might be a little off topic...

Yes, there is a shortage of freeware HPC games in this world... but that can change, with a little skill and a programming language. If I can get ahold of a good compiler, like BASIC, for Win CE, I'd give it a shot.

Can anyone help me here?

Hi,

Not exactly freeware, but I still get a lot of mileage out of the Windows CE game pack that Microsoft put out all those years ago. Unfortunately, it's the original version for CE 1.0, so all the games are in B&W, even on my MP780. (Except for the cards in Freecell and Blackjack, which are the same graphics as the cards in Solitaire, and so are in color. Go figure.) Still amazes me how many hours I can waste playing Minesweeper some times...

Not sure you can even find this any more tho....maybe E-bay.

I have not tried, but this is what I could find.

Back in the late 1990's, Fun Packs or Game Packs were quite a popular way for developers to bundle their individual game software titles into a group package. Now the last player standing, how does mFunPack rate?

FUN GAMES.
