1. no

2. look at the manual and then search for the part number if they list it, if not, you'll need to search a little more to find out the part number of the cable.
you'll need a usb-serial converter too.

i've sent out about 5 emails to various vendors, including pinax and that company that is contracted to support clio. only the support company replied, informing me that they do not stock any accessories and i've received no responce from the others.
i must have spent about 10 hours in the past 4 days searching and searching and searching through the web.....
my last resort of using the irda doesn't look promising since the clio is not responding to my cell phone with irda.
anyone here know where the serial cable is still available?????
or have an extra one that they can sell?????

USe IR to synch with your Pc... works fine! I thought I needed the cable.. but then used IR and THEN I used just no connection only putting the CABS on the CF card and hot-swapping back and forth :-) You can purchase a IRDA->USB for fairly cheap on Ebay!

as i mentioned before, my irda does not seem to be working.

what are my options if i absolutely cannot get a serial cable???
i would love to tinker around with it, but my main objective is to get wireless connection with it.

can i install the prism 2.5 driver without the use of the serial cable???

yes you can just copy the right .CAB installer to a memory card with a card reader then stick the card in your clio and install the cab file

just download and install the exe (requires activesync on your PC!), and go to activesync's folder to find the cabs. or you might find a new folder under program files.
