Hi,

I've been lucky enough to be able to use a Bsquare Power Handheld for the last couple of weeks, and following the useful tips in this forum have been able to make it into a very useful device for me.

I was wondering though if anyone knew how to change the screen settings so it can use less colours? I find the screen updates a bit sluggish on certain programs and I just had this idea that by doing that it would speed things up a bit. Any ideas?

Thanks.

well it could be faster but i doubt you can do it. hm.. i heard that the jornada 680 can go to 65k colours with a simple reghack instead of using the updated ddi.dll, but i never managed to find the description of the reghack. if it really exists, it could work on the PHH as well
anyway every pda that has a higher resolution than qvga or hvga, has this problem to an extent, more or less. vga ppcs, even in qvga mode, hpc's (i've tried several that has a higher resolution than hvga)..

oh and are you lucky to have a PHH? there are a LOT of them on ebay right now... at a great price with two years warranty
