| There are almost 1000 users on H/PC factor and yet only 45 people managed to vote? This is nuts, maybe an admiminstrator/editor should create an editorial on the home page to vote, that might attract more users... |

| The trouble is, HPCFactor is too infomative, downloads and articles and tutorials and forums. It's not possible to keep up with all that needs to be done.
Chris, to remind non-voters about the poll, what about a CNN-type crawl under the main screen? I mean, that can't be hard to set up, right? For that matter, what about a wet bar? I'll bring ice

C:Amie, that is what I meant, I did see it on the 11th, but as Jake said, a new editorial review on the home page that links to the poll... |

Well, not a CNN type banner, something like this:

I believe that only 1/16th of the forum is active.
ProgramSynthesiser: Yes, that is right, only about 14 users are logged on at a time, and only about 6 are registered .
Jake: I would put the DosBox logo under the text, but I believe it is somehow an infringement of copyright law .
Edit: Was not specific enough. Edited by tenjeangosi 2005-10-26 9:09 PM

| I've seen times when there are nigh 30 registered on-line. In fact right now there are 15 and 6 guests.
I see what you mean with the banner, I don't use CNN, so there we go. It isn't something I can impliment at this time, and I don't think I'd be inclined to do so even if we weren't locked down. |

| We need to have a registration drive, may be start locking site features down to registered members... one for the forum suggestions thread though. |
