Hi all,

Strange problem with my Jornada 680e -- when I try to start Inbox, it squeals and says "Cannot find 'pmail' (or one of its components). Make sure the path and filename are correct and that all the required libraries are available."

Not sure what I may have done wrong to the machine, but I have installed HPC 3.0 SP1 fairly recently, although I'm not sure if Inbox went bad immediately after that or not.

Thanks in advance!
Harris

Hmm, not that I know of. But is there some list of required files that I could read and compare my system to?

Thanks.

the line

Huh

You're barking up the wrong path here.
Just uninstall the HPC Pro SP1 Inbox update, you've either installed the incorrect CPU version, or it's corrupted along the way. If the pmail.dll in \Windows after uninstall is dated 26\02\1999 then delete it also. Soft reset and that should work.

Yes, this did it. Sorry for the delay in responding...

Thanks again.
