yes you can connect by infrared or bluetooth. for the latter, you need to buy a compatible bluetooth card (probably CF, not pcmcia)

i didn't say pcmcia wouldn't work, just most of the compatible cards are CF
if this ambicom is an older model you have a fair chance ... even if it is a newer model
i think the HCL (hpcfactor.com/hcl) has the hpc2000 drivers for the card, check it out.

hi,
i just installed Ambicom Bluetooth Air2Net Bluetooth Wireless CF Card (BT2000-CF) on my J720. after soft reset J720 freezes just showing HP invent, i did hard rest and everything was fine.
i reinstalled driver for Ambicom Bluetooth from Product CD and again after reset, J 720 freezes.
Drivrs on Product CD is foe Win CE 3.0 / PPC 2002. >> so i believe drivers r not correct.
in HCL, i find that THIS Ambicom CF card is compatible to J720 but i could not find the drivers for WIN CE 2.)).
Can u pls. paste link where i can find drivers for J720

The 720 runs Windows CE 3.

Hmm, I wonder why it is not working, if it was in the HCL...did you try plugging in the card after your 720 is started up?
