i was able to install the driver no problem.
but i cannot connect to my school's wireless network.
i do get a signal and the clio does disply my school's login page, but in order for me to access school's system, i have to login with my id and password, and everytime i do, i get a messege, 'no password was given'.
my school does not support handhelds so i am not getting any help there...
my suspicion is that the password is encrypted to 128bit and that is why the school system is not recognizing the characters that i am inputting.
but i did the Handheld PC Pro 128-bit SSL Update using the cab file, since i do not have the serial cable. and from what i can tell, it installed with no problem.
is there a step or two that i am missing when installing the 128bit update??

Chances are that the school uses a private class key for logon, which the 128-bit ssl update doesn't include. It is a common problem with web based login. You may need to use a laptop to initiate the mac registrtion and get the H/PC to 'pick it up'.

It's not easy though.

It really depends on what is required by the wap to let you in. If it encrypts all data against the private key, then you're up a creak without a paddle.
It it's just looking to register your nic against a database, then by logging in on a laptop, pulling the card out and sticking it in the HCP, there is a small chance it will work.
