Personally, I've often found it easier on the 300 series than on the 700. That may be intuitive towards the way I type, rather than having a better keyboard, however I've found that after so many years with using a 300 series as my main H/PC, that my error rate has increased significantly on the 700 series's.

Wow! But doesn't the Velo have a much slower CPU than the MC16?

So would you say that keyboard aside, inputting the Velo is easier than with the MC16?

Interesting,
Jake

Wow! Are you saying that--keyboard aside--that a Velo can respond to entered text faster than the MC16?

Do tell ,
Jake

woops, you like the 3xx keyb more than 7xx? oh, well, people do differ from each other
you should try a sharp 4100 to see whats your opinion about that

the Mhz is surely less in the velo1, but that doesnt mean a thing.....

handling things on a CE1 velo is just much faster than on the CE2 mc16. (i couldn't try out CE1 MC16 )

input is better on the mc16 for me because i like that keyboard better (nothing to do with speed)

Amazing, who'da thunk? I wonder what the comparison is between a CE2 Velo and the CE2 mc16?

I can't go down to CE1 with my own Velo, since I use AS 3.8 and don't want to enter the abyss of trying to run HPC Explorer and AS on the same XP machine.

But as I said before, for typing, the CE2 Velo is much more responsive when you go to 4-scale gray and use Tahoma or New Times Roman only.

I find my Velo fast for the things I use for it... [word processing, etc...].
HPC Explorer is a pain, however seems to connect faster than my 2010c ever did with ActiveSync...

EDIT: 800th Post
