Need again help for Reset the 3Com-3c589d-PCMCIA-Card

Hello

I hav on a Laptop (Acer Travel mate 2310) installed Windows 2000 with SP4 in German. I hav create a Bootable Dosdisk with the 3 com Diagnostic Programm from HPC-Forum Dowloadsection here, for Reset the EEPROM on the 3c589d Card.

I boot with a USB-Floppy Disk Drive (runs ok verry god). After the Message
"please type 3c589cfg", than i go to "Diagnose and Configuration" Option in the Menue, is a Error on my Screen:

"Our Program caused a divide owerflow error.....".

What is this ? Is schould the Win2K or mus i installed a DOS 6.22 on the Laptop ?

The Problem is (i think) found the Dos 6.22 the "Texas Instrument 1410 PCMCIA Host Controller" on my Acer Travelmate 2310 Laptop ?

We can i Reset this dammn EEPROM in my Laptop with installed Win2000 OS ?
I will works with this 3c589d in my Jornada 720.

You can try it in Windows 2000, but it would have to be unloaded - diag needs free access to its IRQ.

Getting 589D's working seems to be a big problem for a lot of people.
