Hi All,

I'm stuck trying to setup my template, for ziHosting. I can't afford to pay anyone, at the moment.

This is the basics:

I have a PSD, which has the template in it, I would like this converted to HTML, it is sliced, in most ways, it needs. Basicly, it needs a rewrite in an HTML editor. (According to C:Amie)

If you'd like to help me, please PM me, or add me to your MSN contact list, if you haven't already. OR just reply to this thread. The template may have other problems with it, all I am asking for is the rewrite in an HTML editor, like I said, I can't afford to pay anyone, unfortunatly, but, if you would like it, I can provide one of my hosting packages free.

Thanks,

Nick

I could help, but I wouldn't be able to work on it for awhile as I have school. Here's a few resources that you might be able to work with:

http://addictedtonew.com/archives/60/how-to-nail-a-sexy-layout/

(This one may be down, if not it is the biggest link repository ever)
http://www.alvit.de/handbook/

http://www.alistapart.com

If you have any specific questions, I can definitely spare a second to answer them.

And to better state my credibility... I am a web application maintenance developer at a company here in Orlando. I have been working there for almost a year now and have done significant web design and application projects. Mostly we use XHTML 1.0 Transitional and PHP for our sites making use of MySQL for data management. I personally tend to use the XHTML 1.1 Strict doctype when I am working on things for myself.

Good luck, and if you need anything just ask!

Hi,

Thanks for the offer, I'd like to release it before the end of the week (30th October), I wouldn't ask anybody usually for web design (well exept when I first started ) My skills aren't that bad in my opinion, but I just don't have the time and patience to juggle my current customers and write a website at the same time of this complexity.

Just to note, all I need help with is the conversion from a Photoshop PSD and the creation of a Sub Page.

Thanks,

Nick

How about downloading the demo version of Photowebber and converting your PSD template into a useable HTML or Dreamweaver file. No slicing necessary...

Drop me the PSD and I'll see what I can do.

If I get really bored, you might end up with a XHTML 1.0 standards compliant template. Hehe.
