jornada w/ d-link dwl-650 using intersil prism drivers - software crash

i have a jornada 720 and a dlink dwl-650, i have installed the intersil prism drivers and i can use the prismnds.dll driver make the card active, but the software crashes every time i try to start it, coming up with a fatal application error on prismsta.exe, has anyone else had this problem, and know of a fix?

get the hpc2000 version of the driver, if you're using a CE3 ppc2000/2002 driver...

but before that, check the size of the file mfcce300.dll in \Windows on your J720. how many bytes is it? 407040 or 413696? if it's 413696, delete it (or rename it if the hpc won't allow you to delete it) and do a soft reset. (if any programs stop working then, let me know... but if you're not using any hacked ppc apps, no worries!)

Earlier version of DWL-650 used the chipset of Intersil's Prism
Check the back of your card if printed :
FCC ID:KA2DWL-650V2 ~~it means DWL-650(V2) version 2
And it uses ADMtek's ADM8211 chipset
I think there's no driver for hpc (but Linux)
So does DWL-650+(Plus) use ADM8211 chipset
Can't find any CE or HPC driver from d-link......
