| Hi,
You cannot upgrade the OS on that device, CE2 is fine for most anyway.
What kind of software are you looking for?
Regards,

| Yeah, we can tell you what works on our Phenoms and where you can find it, if you let us know the specific types of applications you're interested in. |

| Nowadays you'd probably have to try eBay - but it'd probably be like trying to find a needle in a haystack. |

| For videos you can use Wodeon:

For pictures, there's an Image Viewer application in Microsoft's Plus! Pack for Handheld PC 2.0 (should still be available on Microsoft's Web site ). There's also a thread in this site titled "Image Viewer" with other free viewers' links; try searching the forum using those keywords.
Also, for MP3s, you can use Utopiasoft's Hum player; there's a download page for it (with registration key code included on the page ) in this site. As I learned with mine, the Phenom has pretty good sound quality for an older device, and Hum seems to work quite well. |

| Hum's quality on my Phenom was dreadful. I found the app to big.
I have never seen another 120 on eBay (UK) since I bought mine, and no accessories, at all. Only the 220's, which I have now.
What language are you trying to add?

| Hi,
Hebrew would probably be difficalt, but I will look into that one.
Your best bet would be to just use Compact Flash, it will be near impossible to get hold of a RAM upgrade, if there was one.

| I am not aware of a DDI update for the Phenom, without that it isn't possible.
the stylus settings information is stored in one of the system databaes. Something like this is either evocatve of a RAM issue, or that the digitiser coordinator is malfunctioning. Given the fact that you say part of the screen is not working, I would go for the latter.
Unless it is a loose connection, they are in my experience nigh impossible to fix as the bus cable consist of very fine machine processed tracks. |

| I have the same problem on my Phenom, and I suspected that the digitizer itself is faulty, as C:Amie points out (it even happens occasionally during use ). It's just been a pain I have to live with.
I must admit at this point that Hum isn't working perfectly. Sometimes the sound gets very rough for several seconds, or the app freezes up completely. (Wouldn't you know it started happening after I talked about how wonderful it works? ) Most of the time, though, the sound is great. (By the way, C:Amie, any chance of a monochrome Hum skin in the Themes list? Just curious. ) Edited by CE Geek 2005-11-13 3:50 PM

| CE Geek,
I don't have the time at the moment to run you one up. Keep hounding me on it in a few weeks time, and I'll get one done for you.
Don't forgert that CE2 isn't highly capable when it comes to multi-threding and multitasking. Probably a good part of the problem. The rest is the RAM. |
