Changing the MAC adress of a 3C589C compatible card

Hi!

Together with the sysadmin from our school and two buddies I wan to hack in the school network. The only thing we need is to change the Mac adress of the card.
How can we do this permanently??

PS: We do not have to do this on a pda; we have got a w2k pc for hax0ring too....
