Hi, good afternoon.

I'm trying to find a wifi card for my bSquare PHH, and this SAFECOM cards are very cheap now on eBay, about £30 delivery included, but after read this forum I was a bit worry if it would work or not.
I tried the Technical support of SAFECOM, to find out if they have any driver for the Windows CE 4.1 system, they answer me with all of this, very quick of them, nice people.
I copy in here all the info they gave me, and if anyone can try the drivers they tell me and post the results, will be of great help
Cheers

Hi Juan and good afternoon!

I am sorry as it's not the supported operating system, but if
you already have bought the device, then I would like you to have a test
on the driver that we have. The link below will provide you two drivers
to download.

You can try both of them one by one but let me tell you that you
will have to completely remove the previously installed driver before
trying the second one and then reboot the PDA and insert the card.

Hi Yasir, good afternoon.

That means that I cannot use this card on my device, can I?
Do you know how to make it work? Any driver for Windows CE 4.1 in
prospect?
Thanks for your help.

Regards,

Juan.

There is a manufacture that uses the same chipset that has a beta driver out.

Ambicom WL11-SD

http://www.ambicom.com/products/wave2net/wl11-sd25.html

Product page click on the driver support page and download the top most driver

Hope this helps, just got to sort out why it locks up while downloading pages. I asume its my router locking it out. But if you guy experience the same problem it must be drivers

laters

you mean the beta windows mobile 5.0 driver?

i don't think that's the best option to use on a cenet machine, i see wm2003 drivers are available too. i guess the lockups are due to this. my wifi card (spectec though, not safecom) doesn't do this.
